Since each Angel Print is hand made, and therefore, hand painted, your Angel Prints may have lighter or darker paint as well as thicker or thinner glaze than the Samples that you see at the Store and/or Online.  We can NOT guarantee that your Angel Prints will have the exact shade or uniformity of the paint nor the same glaze thickness that you see at the Store and/or Online.  We, also, can NOT guarantee that you will see all of the lines and/or wrinkles in the hands or feet.  Due to the process of making ceramic art, some of the major lines may be lost or covered with the paint and glaze.  This is considered a unique part of your Angel Prints being a hand made piece of ceramic art and will not be subject to refund or reprinting.         

GUARANTEE for Online Orders
Ceramics are very delicate and somewhat unpredictable.  In the rare and unfortunate event that your Angel Print breaks during the firing process, at our discretion, you will either be given a Full Refund OR we will make another Angel Print for you at no extra charge.  Your new Angel Prints will require the full 8 to 10 weeks to complete.    

GUARANTEE for Studio Appointments and Store Events   
Due to the nature of ceramics, it is possible that your Angel Prints could crack or break due to clay or glaze abnormalities.  If this happens, at our discretion, you will be given a Full Refund OR we will make you another Angel Print at no extra charge. 

If we make your Angel Prints again, your Angel Prints will require more time to complete and will NOT be done within the timeframe originally quoted.  It will also be the responsibility of the customer to have the impressions done again by appointment only at an upcoming Store Event as we will NOT come to your home for a private appointment.  In order to get your Angel Prints once completed, you will need to pick them up at an upcoming Bay Area Event or at our Petaluma Studio.  If you would rather have the Angel Prints shipped to you, you will need to pay a Shipping Fee before we will ship the Angel Prints to you via FedEx.  The Shipping Fee varies based on the size and number of Angel Prints ordered. 

After we call or email you about your damaged Angel Prints, and we have not heard back from you within 90 days, we will automatically send you a Gift Certificate in the mail for the amount of the original purchase price and the option to get a Full Refund will be forfeited.

GUARANTEE for All Orders
After receiving your Angel Print either via FedEx or Petaluma Pick Up OR after the Angel Prints are delivered to a Store Event location, you have 7 days from the date of delivery to let us know if there is a problem with your Angel Print.  Once we have determined that your Angel Print is defective, at our discretion, you will be given a Full Refund OR we will make you another Angel Print at no extra charge.  

If your Angel Print is determined to be defective, you will be required to return the Angel Print to us before we will process the Full Refund or make you another Angel Print.  We, also, reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at our discretion.

TERMINOLOGY CLARIFICATION for ANGEL PRINTS
Single Impression means 1 impression of a hand OR foot
Double Impression means 2 impressions of 2 hands, 2 feet or 1 hand and foot
Quadruple Impression means 4 impressions of 2 hands and 2 feet

 


FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Should I order a Kit Online or make an Appointment?
If you are able to make an appointment, that would be the best option since we have years of experience taking impressions.  Also, it is our opinion that the impressions taken in the ceramic clay are usually better than the Modeling Compound.  That said, the differences between the Modeling Compound and Ceramic Clay are listed below:

For Impressions taken in Modeling Compound
1.  You can take impressions several times in order to achieve the best prints.
2.  You only need to take one set of impressions for two or more Angel Prints.
3.  You can order more Angel Prints later since we keep the molds on file.
4.  You do not need to take impressions again if your Angel Print is damaged while in process.

For Impressions taken only in Ceramic Clay
1.  Your final Angel Print is more true to size since there is less opportunity for shrinkage.
2.  Your final Angel Print retains more of the details in the hands and feet since it is not transferred.
3.  Your final Angel Print has the original hand and/or foot prints from your child.

It is up to you to decide what is best for you and your child, but we want to give you the additional information on which to base your decision.  We would be happy to take the impressions for you or we can ship you a Mail Order Kit for you to do in the comfort of your own home.  It is completely up to you.

Why should I buy an Angel Prints Kit versus a similar product?
What sets us apart from other companies that have similar products is our unique and classic sense of style with respect to our art work.  We take the time on each piece that comes through our studio to make sure that it is perfect.  We have high standards by which we ensure that each Angel Print that leaves our Studio is one that we would feel comfortable hanging in our own homes.  We like to consider ourselves a Boutique Studio as everything that we put into the Angel Prints is of the highest quality from the accent ribbon to the packaging. 

How long does it take to get a Kit in the mail?
We usually ship out the Angel Prints Mail Order Kits via USPS Priority Mail within 2 to 5 Business Days after you place your order.

Can I put two children on the same Angel Print?
Yes, but the size of the Angel Print may need to be larger.  The ages of the children and the length of their names will determine which Angel Print will fit all of the impressions and information.  If you would like assistance in determining which size will work, please .  Or you can choose the next size up of the Angel Print shape that you want to purchase based on the older child's age.  That usually resolves the issue, and even if there is more space around the impressions and names, it still looks great...and most of the time, it actually looks better.

Can I add to my order after I receive the Kit?
You are more than welcome to change your order after you receive it. Please about the price changes as well as if additional kits are needed.

Why does it take 8 to 10 weeks to receive the finished product?
Every Angel Print is a custom keepsake that is meticulously hand painted, glazed and then fired in the kiln.  The process of ceramics is such that each piece has to air dry completely before it can be fired.  This is the longest part of the process that can not be rushed or your Angel Print might be damaged in the kiln.  Due to the volume of Angel Prints that we make every week, our artists also need to have enough time to make sure that it is perfect before we let it leave our Boutique Studio.  We have high standards, and each piece must meet certain criteria before we send it to you.  Not only do we want it to be perfect for you to cherish for many years, but it is also a reflection of our craftsmanship which we take very seriously.

Why does each impression need to be on a separate slab?
This ensures that we can fit your impressions on the shape and size that you ordered.  We, also, want the impressions to be arranged so that the finished product looks classic and clean, and this allows us the flexibility of moving the impressions to the best location on the clay.

Do I really need to have someone assist me with the impressions?
YES!  You may be able to get away with it for a child that is 4 years or older, but younger children definitely need the assistance.  Otherwise, you will not get the desired impressions that you need for the Angel Print.

I am worried that I didn't do the impressions correctly.  Now What?
If you followed the instructions, they should be fine.  We have never had a customer who was unable to get a good impression of their child(ren).
